We obtain the three-dimensional replica of any object, using different techniques.
- Segmentation: the three-dimensional copy is obtained from tomography, magnetic resnance or confocal microscopy images.
- Photogrammetry: a three-dimensional replica is obtained from photographs.
- LASER scanner. Surface scan based on laser beam.
Using the previous techniques we obtain virtual three-dimensional structures in different formats, ply, stl, obj, even pdf. These replicas can be used for science dissemination, creation of a database of museum pieces available to the public, digitization of cultural heritage or for analysis in research (3D geometric morphomotretry).
